David Gonzales Art (DGA) started in 2011 by founding partners David Gonzales and Cesar Lozano. David Gonzales made his first big splash with his hit brand HOMIES, which retailed in mom and pop shops, specialty stores and eventually into mass retail nationwide. Best known for their collectible action figures, HOMIES were sold in everything from t-shirts, blankets and skateboards, to die-cast and remote control cars.

Already a rock star in the car and bike culture, it was a natural transition for David to stay in the genre that he was known for, creating an entirely new line of artwork. As one of the most successful distributors of HOMIES products, Cesar suggested they team up their efforts and take DGA Tees to a whole new level. Once the new-comers in a crowded field, through the support of many mom and pop shops and specialty stores, DGA has placed itself at the very top of the car and bike culture once again.
