In 1916, an Oklahoma City man bought an abused monkey hoping to give him a better life. One day while in a friend’s bicycle shop, “Doc” knocked over a can of rubber cement on top of an acid container and another solution, resulting in a discovery that would forever change how tire punctures were repaired.
